In a series of ‘Meet The Team’ blogs we will be chatting with various members of the Alpha-Cure / Alpha-Purify team. Delving into what they do, and how it all helps support the company in providing fantastic UV lamps to our customers.
In the first of the series, we took some time out to sit down with Tracy Pitts to find out all about her role in the UK office.
Q. First things first, what’s your name and job title?
Tracy Pitts and I’m the Head of Customer Experience.
Q. And how long have you been working for the company?
Oh, since October 2016, so very nearly six years now.
Q. So, what is your typical day like? What are your main objectives and what do you need to get done?
The days are varied, my main objective is to look after both our team and their customers to help them achieve sales growth with as much support as the company can offer.
Q. Did your previous job experiences provide a good grounding for the role here?
I have been a client services manager previously for many years, so offering a best in class service to our customers is paramount and engrained in my thinking.
Q. What do you enjoy about working here?
The business has a great work ethic and looks after its staff, especially with all the little things it does for all of us, and I love working with all my colleagues as it’s a great working environment, and no they haven’t paid me to say that.
Q. Let’s find out more about you… what’s your idea of a perfect day?
A perfect day would be all about open water swimming and paddle boarding with friends, which is my new hobby, as this is great for the mental health.
Q. Are you a coffee or tea person?
Neither – yuk!
Q. How do you rate the music choices being played in the factory or office?
I don’t often go into the factory but dispatch have good music on occasion. The office music is good as we change stations each day for the varied, no offence anyone, age range in the office.
Q. Final question – what’s your main focus or piece of work to smash out of the park over the coming months?
For me it’s all about continuing to support our customers business growth so that both Alpha-Cure and Alpha-Purify can also continue to grow.
Thanks for your time and answers Tracy.
